Summary
Modern hydroelectric power plants must be operated at a greater level of flexibility, efficiency and safety. This project continues the research conducted in the predecessor project, "Hydronet", to find a standardised methodology for planning, building and operating hydroelectric power plants, with the emphasis on hydrodynamic, structural and ecological aspects. The aim is to reinforce findings from models and laboratory experiments by monitoring actual power plants in Switzerland and abroad.Project start
