Summary

The aim of the project is to develop a new generation of thin-film silicon photovoltaic modules that guarantee maximum technical reliability at low manufacturing cost. The results will enable an improved form of architectural integration in existing and new component structures. The modules are based on amorphous and micromorphous thin-film cells, will enable a guaranteed lifecycle of more than 30 years, and enable a new architectural integration method both in terms of colour variation and the type of roof installation. Special attention will be accorded to the demonstration of existing prototypes, initially on a presentation surface and subsequently on an actual roof installation.
